Modern CNC Machine Tools are equipped with a standard Ethernet connection, most frequently using the FTP or NFS software protocols.

  • Transfer large NC programs in seconds rather than minute

  • More reliable transfer of NC programs

  • Standard networking technology, software and hardware

  • BUS Topology, rather than point-to-point cabling

  • Further distances, and less electrical noise disturbances

  • Deckel Dialog 112, Okuma, Fanuc, Heidenhain and other CNC controllers use either FTP or NFS for standard Ethernet networking connectivity

Upon program upload from the PC to the CNC Machine, all the NC programs are listed on the CNC controller and selectable by the operator.

Configuration
The EDITWELL NFS and FTP servers are highly configurable, using wizards for easy installation and setup.

Proven solution
The speed and reliability of EDITWELL NFS has been proven in thousands of shops. EDITWELL NFS is bundled with all network enabled Heidenhain controls sold worldwide.
